Sunday 6th September 2015, Motor Heritage Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Following a meeting at the Motor Heritage Centre, plans are now well advanced for this year’s meeting for all pre 80’s TVR’s, that is any car manufactured prior to the Tasmin era. Although the main theme of the event is for pre Tasmin cars, all models of TVR are welcome and it is always great to see the owners of newer models, many of whom began TVR ownership with M series and Pre M series cars. We have been allocated a large grass area next to the main entrance which will have space for around 80 pre 80’s cars, while later cars will have a dedicated area within the main car park. Invites have been extended to Martin Lilley, Mike Bigland and Peter Filby, who we feel sure will have plenty to chat about. We hope to have a number of suppliers in attendance, David Gerald have already said they will be bringing something of interest.
After the success of last year, the same 4 trophies will be awarded: People’s Choice Concours de’elegance, Best New Restoration, Best Modified Car, and the Steve Reid Broken Piston Award for the best original car.
Entry to the event is £5 per person, which will includes entry to the fascinating Motor Heritage Centre Museum and it’s excellent café.
Make a note of the date and place in your diary.
