„Scimitars meet Charlemagne“ will be the motto of the weekend; and Sabra, Sabre and Middlebridge cars are welcome as well of course. It is most unlikely that we will meet Charlemagne personally because he died more than 1,200 years ago in Aachen but it seems that he is almost everywhere around between the Cathedral where he is buried, which is a World Heritage Site, and the City Hall. Overall the weekend will follow the same general programme as in previous years with the arrival on Friday, Rally on Saturday and a special outing on Sunday. To celebrate the 25th International Rally we offer a visit to the museum of the ‘Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps’ in Stavelot, Belgium on Friday afternoon as an extra, which is about one hour drive from the hotel.
